Achja, Grafikkarte ist ne Radeon HD, hab fglrx in der make.conf angegeben.

Jup hab ich aktiviert. Dann werd ich mal Crystal Logic MK III bauenich übernehm mal josef weil der grad nich online ist:

aktiviert, versuch das mal zu deaktivieren (kernel recompile) und melde dich dann was fglrx dann beim recompile sagt.
Generell wenn du nich noch eine Intel oder via onboard hast kannste DRM deaktiveren wenn du nur planst fglrx zu benutzen, fglrx bringt sein eigenes DRM mit.

Weil auch die emerge Option "--update" mit dabei ist. Wenn du das nicht möchtest dann lasse "-u" weg.EDIT:
So, nochmal probiert, diesmal hakts an anderer Stelle, nämlich bei gcc 4.4.4 (was bei emerge -avuDN xorg-server mitinstalliert wird, warum?).
Überprüfe doch bitte noch mal ob DRM nun wirklich deaktiviert wurde, schau zb was einZitat

Okay, emerge -avDN xorg-server scheint mir funktioniert zu haben (Nicht, dass das dazu geführt hätte, dass er GCC nicht installiert, nein, aber diesmal ohne Fehlermeldung)
aticonfig -- initial hat auch funktioniert, momentan führt der Versuch den X-Server zu starten aber noch zu einem kompletten Absturz.
