RTCW funktioniert auf einmal nicht mehr

Hi Leute,

Wollte wieder mal RTCW spielen, habs gut ein halbes Jahr nicht mehr angegriffen. Installiert über Portage. Aber das Teil funktioniert nicht mehr. Im Gegensatz zu Enemy-territory das normal funzt. Er findet Dateien nicht. Die was er sucht gibt es tatsächlich nicht auf der Platte. Ähm, hat wer ne Ahnung an was das liegen könnte? Tappe da doch ein wenig im dunklen. Scheint mit irgendwas nicht mehr kompatibel zu sein.

Hallo Leute,

da gibts was neues. Wolfenstein wurde im Source komplett überarbeitet. Anscheinend gehts auf neuen Systemen einfach nicht mehr.

Habs schon downgeloaded. Funktioniert. Aber hätt schon gerne da Original am laufen. Immerhin kann man damit abspeichern, man die ganzen netten Movies. Und die Welten sind nicht gleich alle freigeschalten.

Ja, das alte original Binary von 2002 ist leider nicht mehr mit einem aktuellen System kompatibel.
Siehe zb auch im Bug 435482

Einen Workaround findet sich zb hier: http://us.generation-nt.com/return-castl…-209711892.html
(mit dem Patch neu übersetzten ist ein Versuch wert, hier tut es damit erst mal wieder)
