Kernel booten schlägt fehl

Ich habe einen neuen Rechner und will Gentoo darauf installieren. Installation ist erfogreich abgeschlossen. Leider bootet der Kernel nicht. Weder nach manueller Konfiguration noch mit genkernel und genkernel-next.
Mit dem Kernel und systemd bringt er den Fehler:

Wenn ich mit openrc den Kernel mache bleibt er beim Dateiformat hängen. Also arbeitet nicht mehr weiter. Ich fand in Sachen dem binary format Infos im Netz und habe deshalb über #rc-update del binfmt boot das binfmt aus dem Runlevel gelköscht. Leider keine Besserung. Was kann der Fehler sein? Was kann ich zur Fehlereingrenzung durchführen?

Welche der beiden Distributionen hat den Bootloader bzw. soll ihn haben?

Ich nehme an, wenn LinuxMint bereits installiert ist, hat es auch den Bootloader installiert.

Nun die Hauptfrage:
Hast du bei gentoo grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg
durchgeführt?

Dann müsstest du das Ergebnis in die grub.cfg von LinuxMint übertragen.

Nur kurz, wie das bei mir geht:
Mein BootloaderSystem ist ArchLinux (Label: EFIBOOT)
Meine Gentoo-Installationen habe ich alle mit grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg beendet.

mount -L EFIBOOT /mnt

Mit Hilfe von app-misc/mc ist das nun ein einfaches Verfahren.
Ich öffne per F4 die grub.cfg von gentoo, markiere ab menuentry alles bis zum Ende, und zwar per F9 - Bearbeiten - Kopie in die Clipdatei C-Ins - F10 beenden.
Nun gehe ich zu /mnt/boot/grub/grub.cfg, öffne diese mit F4 - gehe ganz ans Ende der Datei, wo es heisst:
### BEGIN /etc/grub.d/30_os-prober ###
Dort wieder F9 - Bearbeiten - Einfügen aus der Clipdatei S-Ins - F10 speichern - dann ist das Ganze beendet.

Nun ist gentoo in den Bootloader von ArchLinux aufgenommen,
nach reboot tauchen beide in der Übersicht auf:
ArchLinux
Gentoo
Ich gehe zu gentoo und ENTER, nun bootet das System ohne Probleme.

Voraussetzung ist allerdings, daß die /etc/fstab exakt eingerichtet ist.

Ich hoffe, mit dieser Anleitung ein wenig weitergeholfen zu haben.
