Hi, habe mir grad nochmal die Anleitung unter Gentoo.org angeschaut, und habe folgendes übersehen: What happened to i686, pentium3, athlon, athlon-mp stages, LiveCDs and GRP (Gentoo Reference Platform)? Gentoo 1.4_rc4 is meant to be a minimal release candidate only. 1.4_final will contain all the usual x86 architectures and GRP. Hi dimitri und hopfe, ja dimitri, es gibt einen Flag für Athlon MP, und nein ist kein XP sondern MP. Ob es jedoch gehen würde mit XP, könnte ich mal testen. Genau hopfe auf dieser Seite war ich ja, und sah diesen Flag: Athlon MP (AMD) CHOST="i686-pc-linux-gnu" CFLAGS="-march=athlon-mp -O3 -pipe -fomit-frame-pointer" CXXFLAGS="-march=athlon-mp -O3 -pipe -fomit-frame-pointer" und genau mit dem komme ich nicht weiter, sobald ich die Angabe mache in der make.conf bricht er nach paar Zeilen ab, und s...
Hallo zusammen, da ich ich noch ein absoluter Newbie bin mit Gentoo, muss ich halt Nachfragen, da ich ein wenig verwirrt bin. Mein Hardware; K7D Master AMD-760 Dual Board von MSI Proz. 2400+ MP usw.. Meine Frage ist welches Gentoo muss ich nehmen um auf dem Athlon MP fahren zu können ? Es ist ja nicht so das ich bis jetzt noch nichts versucht hätte, aber mit Gentoo 1.4rc4 komme ich mit der stage1 nicht weiter.
