Ich hab hier nen neues notebook von Dell (Inspiron 6400 serie)
Core2Duo T7200, 2 GHz, 2 GB Dual Channel DDR 533 Ram
und ne ATI X1400 mit 128 MB

Das sind irgendwie sehr wenig fps, da selbst mein altes laptop (Centrino 1.73 GHz, 512 DDR und ATI X700) gut 4000 fps gebracht hat
Und wie ich aus forum threads hier gelesen habe, haben selbst GF 4 karten mehr fps O_o
Es macht auch keinen unterschied, ob was läuft oder nicht... zumindest wenns nix mit GLX zu tun hat.
Habs getestet, X gestartet nach frischem reboot... glxgears durchgejagt... 1800~ fps
Dann X stundenlang benutzt, VMware laufen lassen mit 2 Virtuellen PC[ die gleichzeitig rennen, Browser noch auf und etliche Terminas...
Gleichfalls 1800~ fps in glxgears....
Was ist da falsch, ist die Graka so mies oder sind einfach die Ati-drivers dran schuld ?
Und es ist keine sache von einer Fehlanzeige in glxgears oder sowas...
OpenGL spiele, nexuiz, Quake4, Doom3 ruckeln sich den arsch ab.

Composite zeugs rennt nicht, installiert ist es zwar aber laufen tuts nicht.
