VLC startet nicht - ungültiger Maschinenbefehl

Hallo,
ich habe VLC installiert, und er läuft einfach nicht. Unter Gnome im Startmenü ist beim VLC kein Icon zu sehen (keine Ahnung, ob das ein Problem ist).
Beim Start auf dem Terminal unter Gnome kommt als Fehlermeldung:

Die USE-FLags habe ich so gesetzt:
in der make.conf

Als Workaround wollte ich (S)Mplayer nutzen, aber da bin ich auch erst mal gescheitert. (nur so als Info)

Das ist interessant. Eigentlich passt es ja nach diesen Werten. Hast du an den CFLAGS gedreht? Und hast du sonst ein sauberes System? D.h. emerge -avuDN world; etc-update; revdep-rebuild -i liefen ohne meckern?

Wenn du VLC ohne then USE aus der package.use baust ... gleicher Fehler?

Eigentlich schon. Ein emerge world habe ich bisher nicht gemacht, der Lappi ist gerade mal drei Wochen alt und das System darauf "jungfräulich". Da gibt es bis auf Gnome, Firefox und Thunderbird mit Kalender auch nichts weiter darauf.

Zumindest nicht wissentlich. Dazu habe ich zu wenig Ahnung davon.
Das "mit ohne" USE-Flags aus der package.use werde ich heute Abend oder morgen mal probieren.

Nein, ohne Fehler. Aber es läßt sich nicht auf graphischer Oberfläche starten. Nur im Terminal.

P.S. man muß in der make.conf USE-Flag qt4 setzen - dann geht es auch.

Kann ich noch nichts dazu sagen. VLC startet unter Gnome und TV-Live-Stream vom VDR funktioniert. Filme habe ich bisher noch nicht getestet.

Uhm nein. Binäre Suche:
1. nimm all USE,
2. teile in die Hälfte,
3. check ob Fehler, wenn ja dann nimm diese Hälfte und wiederhole mit der Schritt 1
4. wenn nein nimm die andere Hälfte und wiederhole Schritt 1

Wenn du 40 USE Flags hast, hast du in 6 Schritten das böse identifieziert.

Hallo,
nun wollte ich das "störende" USE-Flag finden, aber VLC wurde mit einer neuen Version (nun 2.0.3) aktualisiert, und alles funktioniert problemlos. Ich benötige UPnP und habe dies nachgeschoben und VLC neu kompiliert. Danach habe ich erst mal wieder alle USE-Flags in die package.use eingefügt und nochmals kompiliert. Und danach funktionierte VLC weiterhin. Das wird also nichts mit störenden USE-Flag suchen. VLC läuft wie erwartet. Warum auch immer.
Damit hat sich das Problem erledigt, von gelöst kann man ja nicht reden.
