Hallo,
ich bin grade dabei auf meinem iBook G4 800MHz Gentoo zu installieren.
Jetzt bin ich ganz am Anfang schon gescheitert. Bei dem Schritt :
"6. Installation des Gentoo Basissystems
6.a. Chroot
Optional: Auswahl eines Mirrors"
so das Problem bei dem Befehl : mirrorselect -i -o >> /mnt/gentoo/etc/make.conf
Could not get mirror list. Check your internet connection.
gesagt getan, ping funktioniert ... naja was solls, mirrors von hand eingetragen.
mirrorselect -i -r -o >> /mnt/gentoo/etc/make.conf
Funktioniert hingegen ohne Probleme. sind das nicht die gleichen adressen ?
soweit so gut, da das nicht so unbedingt erforderlich ist hab ich mal weiter gemacht und bin gleich wieder hängen geblieben.
in der Anleitung wird beschrieben das man mit eselect ein Profil auswählen soll,
bei mir ist das Packet aber nicht installiert. beim versuch mit emerge eselect das packet nachträglich zu installieren kommt aber nur ein fehler der auch komme wenn ich mit emerge portage mache weil da als erstes eselect installiert wird .
