vielen Dank für Deine Antwort. Vergib die Ungeduld, ich hatte es wirklich mit der Urlaubszeit in Verbindung gebracht. Ich habe den alten Artikel wiederhergestellt. Auch das
Bildschirmphoto. Soweit ich mich entsinnen kann, hatte ich EFI-Support einkompiliert, da ich das in irgendeinem HOWTO über eeebox & gentoo gelesen hatte.. Werde das, ebenso wie den Partition-Support noch einmal kontrollieren... Es ist schon ein paar Monate her, dass ich diesen kernel konfiguriert hatte.
Zu Deiner Frage, falls ich mich recht entsinne, bootete Dein Kernel, da er die Partitionstabelle nicht lesen konnte. Gibt es eine Besonderheit mit der Partitionstabelle auf so einem Gerät?
Das einzige besondere ist, das neben der sda1 für M$ noch eine sda3 am Ende der Partition als Rescue-Partition von ASUS angelegt wurde. sda2 wurde mal under M$-Windows als D: angezeigt - bis ich die System-ID auf Linux gestellt hatte...
Hätte ich ein USB-DVD-Laufwerk, wäre das komplette System zwischenzeitlich mal neu aufgesetzt worden. Könnte ja auch sein, dass ich mir da irgendetwas verstellt habe.
"Boot Booster" aktiv?
Falls Du den "QuickBoot" oder das "Schnelles Booten" in dem eeebox BIOS meinst, habe nun beides getestet... das Ergebnis ist das gleiche.
