Hallo zusammen!
Ich habe letzte Woche mal versucht meinen Scanner (Mustek Bearpaw 1200 CU) unter Gentoo anzubinden. Eigentlich dachte ich das könnte nicht so schwer sein, schliesslich habe ich das unter SuSe auch geschafft.
Ich poste hier einfach mal sämtliche Ausgaben und Sachen die ich gemacht habe. Vielleicht ist das ja nur ein dummer Denkfehler:

Unter /usr/share/sane/gt68xx/ liegt die passende *.usb Datei.

Laut der gt68xx.conf in /etc/sane.d/ steht drin dass ich keinen Override für den Scanner brauche.
Installiert sind folgende Versionen:
sane-frontends 1.0.13
sane-backends 1.0.15
root@Spatz chrittig # rmmod scanner
ERROR: Module scanner does not exist in /proc/modules
Auch sane-find-scanner findet keinen scanner
Die Datei unter /dev/usb/scanner0 existiert.
Habt Ihr noch irgendeine Idee????
Ich weiss nicht was ich machen soll... Vor allem verstehe ich nicht wieso das unter SuSe ging und jetzt nicht.
