hi, vielleicht könntet ihr ja mal ein auge auf meine dmesg ausgabe werfen. ( besonders den
"ACPI: PCI Interrupt Link" Teil). Mein System stürzt nämlich häufiger ab als mir das lieb ist.
bei 3d-spielen wie z.b. ET kommt es häufig zu einem totalen "freeze" (tastatur, maus reagieren nicht mehr) und es kommt zu einem soundhänger im "maschienengewehr-style"

memtest86 habe ich schon durchlaufen lassen und dabei festgestellt, dass ein speicherriegel fehlerhaft ist. nachdem ich ihn ausgebaut habe bilde ich mir ein, dass mein system stabiler läuft. aber es ist immernoch nicht so wie ich mir es wünsche. heute z.b. haben plötzlich tastatur und kde nicht mehr reagiert. die maus ging aber noch. zumindest konnte ich den zeiger bewegen.
ich weiß wirklich nicht was ich dagegen machen kann. ein fsch.reiserfs habe ich übrigens auch schon gemacht.
kann es nicht am nvidia treiber liegen ? vielleicht verträgt der sich nciht so recht mit meiner "Geforce 2 MX" ???
ob ich mich noch per ssh einloggen kann weiss ich nicht. ich werde es aber beim nächsten freeze probieren.
achja, einen hardwarefehler halte ich auch nicht für ganz unwahrscheinlich. vielleicht werde ich morgen mal festplatte, pci-karten, graphikkarte & co aus- und wieder einbauen. sowas hilft manchmal wunder
was mir gerade noch einfällt. als ich letzte woche auf einer lan-party war habe ich windows zum halflife-spielen installiert. der pc ist beim spielen ziemlich oft abgestürzt
